Dealing with health insurance companies after an accident has always intimidated me but my representative Katrina Schlothauer made my experience so much easier. When my husband had his accident she was the first one I called while we were in the ER. She never once made me feel alone, always answered my questions in a timely manner, and showed me that I can negotiate medical bills. Who knew that was even an option! When the EOB’s started to come in along with the medical bills she helped me in getting the bills reviewed so everything was accurate to the penny. My Hospital (St Vincent) screwed up so bad during billing, our medical file almost got sent to collections. Travel friends and family — listen up! If you're considering private health insurance, talk to my girl Katrina Schlothauer.
